Lou Dickman Weekly

It's rapping Lou this week, as LDW offends yet another art form. Lou is also stuck on 2 games below .500 for his picks this season, and has plenty to say on Jay Cutler Day. As Lou would say about his white man status, "OUTSTANDING!"

Lou goes off the rails and the Commish follows, in this very special episode of LDW. Lou talks of winter, the winter of his discontent and his favorite shorts. Following "Lou's Picks"? He's dancing with Lady .500. Following Lou's "No Forks Review." It's easy to presume he never leaves the house. As Lou would say about seeing a "c," "OUTSTANDING!"

Lou Dickman is certainly in a interesting mood, as he muses on the "Fast & Furious," Epic Burgers and finger exams. December 1st is the Toys for Tots motorcycle ride, so go down to Western Avenue and cheer on our leather clad heroes. As Lou would say about very tight chaps, "OUTSTANDING!"

Happy Turkey Bowl Week from Lou Dickman! Lou talks that turkey, picks all the games on Thanksgiving and tells everyone never to give him mincemeat pie. His 'No Forks Review' returns to a popular "Bone-in" restaurant and 'The Guido' makes a cameo. All this and a wishbone too on the 2013 Thanksgiving Episode of LDW. As Lou would say about lumpy gravy, "OUTSTANDING!"

PLEASE STAND BY! Lou Dickman Weekly historically goes off the air as the Commish tries to keep everything together. On this 50th Anniversary week of the JFK assassination, the Commish and Lou throw out their theories. All this, and Doodle Dickman, too! As Lou would say about the King of Cuber, "OUTSTANDING!"

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! Lou Dickman Weekly is moooooooving – for the rest of Da Bears Sunday daytime games this season – to SOVEREIGN LIQUORS, 6202 N. Broadway in Chicago. Thanks to The Blue Frog for filling the gap admiringly (and especially to those who came to the Frog). Moving on, it's the "Jokes Episode" on LDW, as Lou and the Commish trade Barbs. It's Loooooooou on his 'ciento cuarenta' episode, that's 140 as he and the Commish are gangbusters for their Spanish speaking audience. Lou tells us of 'Cabbage Day' from his youth, guaranteed to blow your mind, if not your colon. As Lou would say about regularity, "OUTSTANDING!"

Looooooooou is on the air, telling of his comedy days of youth. Hickory Dickory...etc. "Lou's Picks" is hanging on at a tenuous 14-15, and he picks an upset special today. LDW also goes French in the "No Forks Review," which means Lou is about to surrender to fromage. As Lou would say about unclothed traffic stops, "OUTSTANDING!"

Lou is classical, as he rhapsodizes on harpsichords, fancy restaurants and open hearts. One never knows what kind of Lou we're to get. In "Lou's Picks," his season record is back below .500, a place in which Lou is very familiar. As Lou would say about Ted "Lurch" Cassidy, "OUTSTANDING!"

It's marathon Sunday, and Lou is running off his mouth. This week, LDW reveals that Mr. D is over .500 on his "Lou's Picks," pending the outcome of today's match-ups. The "No Forks" review gets a bit testy between Lou and the Commish, but at least it's a sammich. As Lou would say about a nylon-wearing Joe Willie, "OUTSTANDING!"
