Lou Dickman Weekly

Lou is talking Blade Runner, the Pope and The Guido in this episode, which will get he and the Commish excommunicated from somewhere. The "No Forks Review" continues, with the roll out of a new Lou theme song. As Lou would say about dispensation, "OUTSTANDING!"

Get your scorecards out, as Lou goes over his Super Bowl proposition bets. He does pretty well with stuff like Beyonce's hair-do, and only Lou can do a 'do like Lou do does. Also Lou's No Forks Review has a new theme song, "I Love Sandwiches." As Lou would say about bread and meat, "OUTSTANDING!"

The extra long LDW's keep coming with the SUPER BOWL PREVIEW (cue music). As per tradition, Lou is predicting all the wacky bets, so keep them coming, says he. This is the third week of "Lou's No Forks Restaurant Reviews" (which the Commish calls "hands-free"), and Lou dishes on urban statistics. As Lou would say about Super Bowl Media Day, "OUTSTANDING!" P.S. Okay, this is wacky. First we get over 20,000 midweek, then Podbean announces that their counting system is down. When it comes back up, it puts us back at 17,400. Now after a few days, we're over 23,000. Lou and the Commish will celebrate at 25,000. Thanks for listening.

Lou is fixated on the Hartford Whalers in this episode of LDW. It's hockey time here in Chicago and our Blackhawks are part of Lou's dreams, as he picks each potential division winner in the NHL shortened season in the "Lou's Picks" segment. Next week it's Super Bowl wacky bets, a LooooooooooU tradition. As Lou would say about the power of inflation, "OUTSTANDING!"

Apparently Lou and the Commish's New Years Resolution is to do longer shows, as this one clocks in four minutes longer than usual. Lou is in an expansive mood as he rhapsodizes on the NFL playoffs, the new coach of Da Bears (Marc Trestman) and Charlie Hustle. As Lou would say about reality, "OUTSTANDING!"

A rare behind-the-scenes false start highlight this episode...hear Lou break down the mask of his character...it ain't pretty. Lou talks up the NFL playoffs, in fact seems anxious to do so. What is Lou Dickman hiding. You'll find out all of this, including the fact that the Commish doesn't know where Lou is from. As Lou would say about Miss America, "OUTSTANDING!"

Lou D. is on the road as he tries to make sense of the playoffs with no help from the Commish. This is rambling episode, full of conjecture and misinformation, which makes it a perfect LDW. Who knew that Lou played rugby, for example? As Lou would say about the scrum, "OUTSTANDING!"

Happy LoooooooooooooU Year, it's 2013 and what better way to "kick it off" then to have a show that originally should have dropped on Sunday. Lou accurately predicts the demise of Lovie Smith in his prognosticating ways. To wrap up Lou's Picks for 2012, he picked EVERY NFL game on the Sunday slate and his final record ended being...well, tune in next week to find out. As Lou would say at midnight, have an "OUTSTANDING" year of 2013. And despite the outcome, one more GO BEARS!

Merry Holidaze, Freaks! It's a wonderful day to be happy and gay, and Lou doesn't disappoint in the annual "Lou Dickman Christmas Show." He puts everybody in a warm holiday mood by smearing Figgy Pudding on the proceedings. Who knew that Lou's favorite holiday movie was the ubiquitous "A Christmas Story." Lou gives a whole other interpretation of the tongue stuck to the flagpole. It's got to be listened to be believe. As Lou would say about the Christmas spirit of believing, "OUTSTANDING!" It's PACKER WEEK and Lou is loaded for DA BEARS! He is predicting a Bears victory as well as a Lovie coaching legacy. Lou and the Commish are on location at the "Frozen Tundra" of Green Bay, freezing their nads off by infiltrating enemy territory. As Lou would say about singing old sitcom songs, "OUTSTANDING!"
