Lou Dickman Weekly

Episode 310 kicks off by saying TOYS FOR TOTS DRIVE at The Sovereign, 6202 N. Broadway in Chicago. The bin will be there until early December. Lou and the Commish talk the XFL, the league that only lasted one season and burned through 35 million bucks. As Lou would say about HE HATE ME, "OUTSTANDING!"

SPECIAL GUEST STAR: DA HAWKE! IT'S the TOYS FOR TOTS KICKOFF! Bring a toy into THE SOVEREIGN starting today (NOVEMBER 10TH, 2019) to early December. It's also AFL week on Lou and the Commish's Alternative League Overview (competitors to the NFL), and of course the rise of the AFL gave us the Super Bowl (and Joe Willy Namath, as Lou will express upon). As Lou would say about revisionist history, "OUTSTANDING!"

Lou goes to the Great White North as he and the Commish discuss the Canadian Football League (CFL) on their LEAGUE OF THE WEEK (leagues that have competed against the NFL over the years). Lou talks all things Canada likes he owns the place or something! It's all on what Podcast Magazine calls "the cardboard paste of broadcasting." As Lou would say about Canucking, "OUTSTANDING!"

Lou mentions Geritol in the episode, so of course the joke has to smothered to death. The Commish and Lou talk World Football League, the first episode of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE and DA BEARS! As Lou would say about iron poor blood, "OUTSTANDING!" Happy Halloween!

Statsmaster Lou admits his new character, The Mis-Count, might prove problematic as the Lou's Sunday NFL Picks weeks go by (The Commish and Chris Bother can relate). The tribute to former (and current, in this case) knock off football leagues continues, so Arena Football fans take note. As Lou would say about the New England Steamrollers, "OUTSTANDING!"

Loooooou points out a rip in the time/space continuum during the USFL sequence in Episode 305 of the Lou Dickman Weekly Podcast ... the future is now. Cody Punky comes up, Kyle Schlong makes another appearance and Lou can't help but market the newest McDonald's product. As Lou would say about synergy, "OUTSTANDING!"

Loooooou and the Commish catch up with the news – a new QB for Lou's New York Giants, the Chicago Cubs celebration of the 50th Anniversary of their 1969 collapse by having the team have a similar collapse and the McDonald's burger that will sweep the nation. It's a funky new LOOOOOOOOOU! As Lou would say about Eli Manning's new career, "OUTSTANDING!"
